Jesse Siegel

Outreach Specialist

Jesse is an Outreach Specialist at CASJ. He provides harm reduction, syringe exchange, and overdose prevention services to people who use drugs in Nassau and Suffolk counties. He believes that harm reduction means building trust and helping people who use drugs feel safe in a world where, much of the time, life is dangerous for them.

Jesse is a certified peer support specialist (CPSS). He has advocated for youth in justice, mental health, and foster care systems. Having experienced many losses due to overdose, Jesse is driven to help end the stigmas around mental health and drug use.
