Jeremy Rebert
Nassau County Harm Reduction Coordinator
Jeremy Rebert is CASJ’s Nassau County Harm Reduction Coordinator. He provides syringe exchange and overdose prevention services directly to people who use drugs. In addition, Jeremy supervises CASJ’s Nassau County peer syringe exchange program to expand access to naloxone, MOUD, drug checking, wound care, and other harm reduction services. Jeremy’s passion for harm reduction stems from his strong belief in treating people equally, a stance derived from the adversities he faced growing up.
Jeremy is an emerging professional with extensive study and training in the public health sector. He graduated from the Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences with a bachelor’s degree in Public Health with an interest in Environmental Health. Jeremy has great passion and energy to make a positive difference in the world. He has devoted much of his time to volunteer work while living in Albany, including planting trees in the south end of the city and serving food at a no-requirement housing program.
