NICOLE CHIMENTO, MPH
Deputy Director

Nicole Chimento, MPH, is Deputy Director of Community Action for Social Justice (CASJ). She is CASJ’s primary point of contact for requests for services. Nicole is responsible for supervision and coordination of staff, volunteers and peers, oversees direct services to participants and data entry, provides Opioid Overdose Prevention Trainings and Train the Trainer sessions, ensures adherence to programmatic regulations, and all other assistance to the Executive Director.

Nicole has been working in the field of harm reduction since 2013. She started her career in harm reduction as Director of Harm Reduction at the Long Island Minority AIDS Coalition (LIMAC). At the time, LIMAC was the only waivered Harm Reduction & Syringe Exchange Program on Long Island. Nicole received her Bachelor of Science from Southern Connecticut State University and continued her education at Stony Brook University where she earned her Master’s in Public Health.
